Once known as Ravenscrag, this mansion perched on the side of Mount Royal was donated for research into psychiatry by the heirs of Sir Hugh Allan and played a central role in the CIA's Project MKULTRA, the Agency's initiative to develop mind control techniques which were implemented at the hospital by Dr. Ewen Cameron.
